On Friday, January 9th, WA’s Nordic Ski Team competed in their first race of the season at Weston. Facing off against the likes of Acton Boxboro, Concord Carlisle, Lincoln Sudbury and Wayland, both the boys’ and the girls’ teams placed fourth overall.
Senior and captain Ryan Bell finished first out of the boys on the WA team, finishing 7th overall with a time of 10:19.
Sophomore Michela Forty finished in 16th place overall, but led the WA Girls’ team with a time of 13:16.
