I wouldn't have known the precise biographies of these two bands. I did want to say though that I never explicitly stated that "Snow Patrol" is a new band, in the paper. However, it was not justified of me to say that "The Elbow" was new. It is good food for thought, and I can tell you now that I absolutely love "The Elbow". They've been around since the year I was born, 1991. Keep posted, there are more reviews and photos/video too, still to come! Both are huge in the UK. Elbow's 4th album, The Seldom-Seen Kid was last years' Mercury Award winner and broke them through to a mainstream audience. Snow Patrol made that leap 5 years ago with the release of The Final Straw, which contained the hit single, "Run". The follow-up album, Eyes Open (their 4th) contained the world-wide hit "Chasing Cars". That single has the distinction of being the most-played song since the turn of the century.
